Procrastination
It's Monday, you're at home watching T.V. after a busy day at school and you suddenly remember that Math homework your teacher left you for next week. But you think - "I still have a whole week to do it...I'll get to it later, right after my favorite show The Big Bang Theory."
It's Wednesday, and you're tired after a terrible day at school where you had a pop quiz you obviously had not studied for. And again - Math homework- pops in your mind. But since you're so angry, you don't want to know anything about school! You'll do it later, you still have enough time.
It's Friday, at last, free to do anything...but not the homework, no, definitely not today. It's Friday.
Sunday, 10 pm, UH-OH, panic attack! You forgot all about the homework! OK quick plan:
1. Get the computer.
2. Log in to msn, facebook, twitter so you can ask your friends if they have done it already.
3. Complain with your friends, who haven't done it either, about this terribly LONG and COMPLICATED homework your teacher gave you.
4. Start working on your homework while checking the time every 2 minutes. Btw its almost midnight, if only you had more time!
5. The ratio of homework - timechecking - social network checking - msn complaining is 1:2:3:3
6. You're hungry, and with an empty stomach it's impossible to study.
7. You go to the kitchen to grab a bite.
8. Go back to study, doze off a couple of times.
9. Sleep like a baby using your school objects as blankets.
10. Wake up in the morning, feel ashamed and angry at yourself for not doing your homework when you had the time!
Conclusion: Look at the video, think about thinking, choose should over want, and be proud of the positive outcome of your hard work.
