Hi daniel how are you? I expect you are fine, I wrote this e-mail to tell you all the things I did in the last vacations.

The first week of vacations I didn't did did anything awesome, I only played Wii, soccer, I olso went to some little tournaments, but on Friday morning me and my dad prepared a "Lomo relleno" this took us half of day. After finishing the recipe we prepare the table to eat. We ate at 11pm and after eating we opened the gifts, I received and iPad 4, clothes, money and a thermos.

On December 26 an uncle and a cousin came to our house, we showed our house an gave them their room, me and my sister played with them Wii and table games. On December 31 my dad and I cooked an pork leg of 10 kilograms we injected "salmuera" and put it on the oven, we also cooked potatoes with "Romero".

After all the celebrations I only played with my iPad. My cousins and uncle went to their home the 10 of January.

I want to tell you about my interesting holidays.

December 22: I traveled to Bogota at night but before my dad invited us to the VIP section of Avianca and we ate "empanada" and drunk coke and coffe.
The first day in Bogota I ate pizza with my grandparents, my parents ,my aunt and my cousins.
The second day, December 23 I was very happy because my aunt and my cousin came from Canada to Colombia at night.
During the day I ate "tamal" and chocolate with the family.
Then we went to a mall called Titan,it was very beautiful,and I observed that my favorite store was Forever 21 because it is very beautiful and it had a lot of things.
At 6 pm i had a meeting with my family and we ate.
Then it was time to go to the airport because my cousin and my aunt went from Canada to Colombia.
All my family was in the house and was very happy because the next they was Christmas .
December 24, my Aunt was going to pick us up and take us to her house.Then at the night all the family members arrived to her house and we ate and drank.
And I felt very happy , because not all the years all the family was together.

Last holidays was great, besides I don't went to a big trip, I was busy. First weekend was very funny because I go to 3 parties and they were really fun. And the best was that after that my cousin that I only see two times per year come to barranquilla and stay in my house fifteen days, while she was here we do many things, like go shopping every day, then her boyfriend also came and we meet in yogupop to eat ice-creams, and first it was very awkward because it only wast they two and me, but then me and Edgar, her boyfriend, start talking about lot of things, it was very interesting and funny because we both talked a lot and now the awkward person was not me but my cousin. While she was here was christmas day and my family from mother also came and all we went to my grandma house and we made a very cute christmas dinner, that also was DELICIOUS.
But she had to went again to her home and I was very sad. Then was too normal, like always. But to end of year my family go to Cartagena and it was very funny that we put the radio and five minutes before twelve it said that already was twelve so we start saying that it wasn't and we put another one that had the clock at the real hour and when it was twelve it became crazy, all of us were screaming and shouting happy year around, and my dad take the bottle of champagne and started shooting all us. After those days all became normal again and last weekend I went to Santa Marta 3 days and it was fun but I didn't like too much that the beach was super cold but the rest was really great.

Hi friend,
im writing this letter you to tell you about my incredible vacations in the summer.
The last summer, I did many things, it was one of the best's summer's of my life. At the beggining of my vacations , my cousin Valeria, came from Cali to visit us. She is 18 years old, and she told me the first week since she arrived to go with her to the mall. She left on December 26 to Cali, because she was planning to go to Las Ferias de Cali, and to be with her dad on new years eve. When she left, I invited some friends home some days, and the other my friends invited me to their home. On December 31, my mom told me she contract a Orchest man, and that some friends from Bogota were going home to pass new years eve with us. At 8:00 p.m, the friends from Bogota arrived home, and the family started to arrived. That day, I was wearing a long green with white strips shirt, a black pant, and a black shoes. At 10:00 p.m, when all the family and the friends of my mom were already in my house, the bell rings, and I went to the door to see who was ringing. When I open the door, I got a big surprise, some of my friends went to my house with their family, because my mom invited them. The I started to talk with them, and later, I went dancing with one of my friends that was there. The other day, a friend of mine invited me to her pool, it was a big pool, and we enjoy it. A week later, my mom told me that she reserved some rooms in The Estelar Manzanillo in Cartagena, and that we were leaving on friday. In the hotel, I got some friends from other countries, like Chile, Panama, Argentina, Mexico, and other countries. I passed it very good and I enjoyed it a lot.
And that was the story of my awesome vacations

Hello yayis

I haven't heard from you in all vacations and I wanted you to know how mine were, and hear about yours that I'm sure were better than mine. A good thing about this vacations was that I didn't go to the last three days of school because I had to go to Miami for a little while to get things of my residence done. I really wasn't that excited of going because I wasnt going to be with my friends, including you for my birthday; but there was some things that i really wanted to do in Miami like, visit my family and shop. It was just for a few days, so it wasn't that bad but I really missed you.
Then I came back to Barranquilla and my brother came too from Boston and stayed here for a month; it was really nice spending time with him and with friends that left after graduating and came to visit.
Nothing special happened this month but I went to nice parties, like Dina's birthday that you missed; it was really fun, but I went home really late and unfortunately my mom got mad and I was grounded for a whole month, but at least mydad and her let me go out more times than I thought they would let me.
I hope you had a really good vacation and talk to me about it. I'd love to here from you and what you've been up to and when you come back I would love to hang out with you.

Dear Maya,
How are you? We haven't talked since last month, I hope you are okay and I hope you had an amazing holiday. Well, for me, the holidays weren't that good to be honest, I didn't do anything special rather than hanging out with friends, sleeping, etc.. But I'll tell you what I did.
On Christmas Eve I went out for lunch with my dad and then he bought me a beautiful watch for Christmas. I also got money from my aunts which I am saving it for the trip I'm doing to the US this year on summer as you know. At night I was with my family and my family's friends. We had a good time. The next day, on Christmas I didn't do anything, I stay at home all day watching TV and eating haha. The next few days I hung out with friends as usual. On New Years Eve my mom and I wait until midnight with some friends in my house around the pool. When the clock stroke midnight we all hugged and wished new year to each other. It was fun.
So yes, thats all I did, nothing interesting. I hope you are having a good time and I also hope to see you soon.

Dear Jack


How are you my friend? Since we haven’t talked in a while I would like to tell you that I have taken the scuba diving course you recommend me, with Aristides, he’s awesome and we really have a great time with some Brazilians we met. The course was in Rio de Janerio.

The first day we learned the theoretical part, we watch like five hours of tutorials and tips.

The second day we put in practice what we learned in the pool, it was really great, and it was easy, you just need to repeat things so you can get used to them, breathing by a machine at first was weird, then I get used to it and it was even better than using your nose.

Then the instructor took us to the sea; I was very excited because we have to set the S.C.U.B.A. (Self contained under water breathing apparatus). And finally we were underwater, while descending I though my ears would explode; it was a lot of pressure in the atmosphere. That past in a few minutes, the instructor showed us different kind of fish, however while descending the type of fish varied.

When the profundity was like twenty-five we saw a little shark, a manta ray, and two swordfish. We kill some lionfish because they are harmful to the environment.

I haven’t feel more free and full of live since that moment, I`m thinking of doing the advance course next summer, thank you for recommend me such a great thing, this is one of my greatest experience in life.

Dear ________(insert the name of whoever is reading this).

Hi, how is it going?. I had an incredible holiday so I decided to write a letter to tell you about it.

As always, I spended the holidays in Maracaibo,Venezuela with my family (you know that my whole family lives there) and I got to see my grandparents, uncles, cousins and the dogs. Truth be told, we were  most of the time inside our house since there isn't much to do during christmas and new year's eve and we only got out to eat or reunite with our family.

Nothing exciting happened since. Well, there is not much to do Maracaibo, but I watched some movies like loopers, the Bourne legacy, premium rush and savages. Also I watched some tv series like game of thrones and revenge. Aside from that, we also bought a new pet ( I don't remember the race) and we named him "Don Pepe", he is 2 months old and he gets well along with Lili,our other pet.

We had to visit my mother's family as well as my father, which was rather tedious but I manage to pull trough.

Well, that's all, I had a wonderful holiday (though not much exciting) and I was happy to see my family again.

Dear Richard,

Hey how are you? I hope this letter finds you in good health. I’m writing to tell about my holidays and how interesting and amazing they were! So let me begin: On December the 14th school ended. It was a sunny day so right after I got home I changed into a bathing suit and went to a friend’s swimming pool with about seven other guys. We listened to some good music and had a lot of fun. This was the start of my vacation.

The following two weeks were pretty relaxed, I went to the movies with my friends, I stayed home with my girlfriend some day and stuff like that. But then my cousin and a friend from Bogota came to stay at my house. I had to entertain them so we went out to party a lot.

We spent New Years at my place partying with my family and some family friends and on January the 1st we traveled to Cartagena and stayed at the Sonesta Hotel. During the day we went to the pool and the beach and at night we went to the Old City to party. Also in Cartagena I went to a music festival called Summerland and I was there for 14 hours. When it was over I was exhausted but I had a lot of fun and hopefully I’ll get to go to other music festivals.

After Cartagena I came back to Barranquilla and I basically took a vacation from my vacation. And now they’re all over.

So this is what I did during the holidays, I hope you found it interesting.

Dear Miss Paola,

This winter break was different from any holiday I’ve ever had. Even thought what I did wouldn’t have been mu first choice, I really enjoyed my vacation and wish that i could go back in time and live it again.
At first when I asked my dad if we had any plans for the holidays he said that this year we wouldn’t be able to go anywhere, as my summer vacation was very expensive. I got a little upset but I knew that he was right and it wasn’t fair for me to beg him.
It was only the first week of winter break and I was already extremely bored. I went to sleep everyday at 3:00 am and woke up at almost 4:00 in the afternoon, going out with my friends only a couple of times.
When the second week was about to finish with the same boring routine, a friend from Canada who I met a long time ago appeared at my door and told me she had great news. Camilla, mu friend, said that her uncle invited her to a little town in Bogota and she wanted me to go with her.
I became really excited and asked for permission immediately, and my parents, after watching my previous routine, agreed to let me go.
We left the next day and took a plane to Bogota, and after a three-hour drive, we arrived to the amazing little town, which looked the same as the ones in movies.
Camilla’s uncle had a house there and we enjoyed going to the pool, meeting people who lived nearby and shopping all the handmade stuff. Also, the food we tasted was fabulous and nothing like the typical food I had ever tasted.
We stayed there for about a week and had the most amazing time, it was really sad when it was over but I was glad I had that experience
I promised to myself that when I grow up someday I’ll take my children to that place because it felt like it was magical. Also, I’m writing this letter to you so maybe you'll decide to go as well.
