Dear Leyla;
Today I woke up back into reality; after a wonderful winter break, I'm absolutely pleased with G'd and with my life. I had an amazing time with my family and friends, allthough at the beggining I got sick.
My best friend came from Panama unexpectly for my birthday so it was really exciting; then I went with my lovely family to Cartagena, where I rested, enjoyed every single moment and finished the best trilogy I've ever read, Millennium by Stieg Larsson. When I came back, I spent time with my family and friends mostly in bed in the morning, in the sun in the afternoon and partying at night.
On new year's eve some new friends of my family gave us a present that fullfilled our hearts, then I went to Eva's house and had an excelent time. After that, I returned to the "Corralito de Piedra" with my friends, and allthough it was good, I didn't reached my expectations because of the lack of organization.
Well, I hope you had a great time with the ones you love, and sincerely I wish you all the best for this new year.

Dear Friend

Last June I went to United States and it was awesome because I was with my mother's family and we did many things we ride bike played soccer and other many sports and at night we go shopping.
After that I came to barranquilla because I have to study for my test in my new school. I have to study all days at the morning and in the afternoon I can make whatever I want. That was all my vacation .
They were very boring at the last part but in the trip they were great.

Now I'm gonna talk about the December vacation they were great because I have a new girlfriend so we get together all vacations with our friends and many time we were alone so we can talk about our feelings and talk about our lives so we can know each other better.

Dear John,

I am writing you this letter because I want to tell you how my vacations were. I went out on vacations on December 14. That day we had an activity at school. We did many activities including sports and "rumbaterapia". That day students played soccer versus the teachers, the students won 5-4. After that I went to my house to enjoy these vacations. I spent almost all my vacations on my house, because I wanted to rest a lot and I didn't feel like going out. The 24th I went to my uncle's house, were me and my family celebrated christmas. We talked for around two hours and later we ate turkey with rice. The 31st I traveled to Cartagena to celebrate New Year with my other family. That day I spent almost all the day playing XBOX, until it was around 9pm when we started changing because the visitors were coming. That day I went to sleep at around 3am because I was very tired. After that I came back to Barranquilla were I stayed most of my vacations at home resting. I hope you had great vacations just as me, rest what you need and have a great time. I hope you can write back at me telling me about your vacation also. Goodbye

Dear Dimitri

Hello my friend Dimitri, I'm writing you this letter to tell you about my holidays.
I finished school on December 14 and I was glad that happened. Since I went out from school I hanged out with my friends and went to places like the movies, to the pool and to somebody's house or just stayed at my house and watch tv. That time I spent doing those thing was very funny and I enjoyed it very much.
Then I spent Christmas in an auncle's house with all my family. The next day I traveled to Miami with my dad and my brother. In Miami I had a lot of fun and have a great time there.
I went shopping, I went to many restourants and have delicious meals.
In Miami the weather changed everyday, one day it could be very cold and the other day could be cool and very nicely.
I arrived from Miami on December 31 and spent New Year's Eve at my granpa's house with my family.
On the days I have free until I have school again, I just slept and rest in my house.
That is all I did on my vacations.

Dear Friend,
I would like to tell you about how my vacations were. First of all, I went out from school on December 14. During my vacations, I spent most of the time in house my resting and playing fifa in my Play Station. One day, my parents, my sister and I went to the movies to watch The Impossible, a movie about a family that were in the middle of a tsunami that happened 7 years ago in the southern coast of Asia. My parents and my sister cried because it was amazing to see how the tsunami devastated all the houses and hotels and kill many people. Other days, we stayed in the house and we watched movies and eat popcorn and chocolate. When it was December 31, my family and I went to the house of the grandmother of my uncle to celebrate the New Year. Well, I have to go I hope you’ve enjoy reading this. Goodbye.

Vacations

Dear Daniela

In this vacations I stayed for christmas and new year here in Barranquilla. On christmas we did a dinner in the house of my grandmother and grandfather, the family came to the house, we delivered the gifts to each person with my ant dressed by santa. Everyone received a gift, then we ate arab food, it was very funny.
Our family stayed in Barranquilla waiting for new year. The 31 of december we did a small dinner in my house, listening to music and waiting for the 1st of january. When the clock turned 12:00 we hug everyone and ate 12 grapes. (That is our tradition) later my two little cousins, Victoria and Gabriella, arrived to my house, we danced, we ran, we laughed, we did many funny things.
When I woke up I didn't know what to do so my mother decided to go to Playa Mendoza to our cabin we have there. The family went and some of them stayed to sleep. We took our dogs, Sasha and Cedric. One morning my dad took cedric in the ATV to the beach, were they found a coconut Which was the toy who he play with.
We spend three days in Playa Mendoza, the we arrived to Barranquilla were three of my friends and my cousin gather to go to the Caujaral club. We ate, we talked and laughed. Then we left.
On saturday 12 I went to sleep in my cousins home until sunday 13. Now I'm on school again.
Those were my vacations... Hope I can see you one day and better sooner than later.

Dear Johnny

After a lot of things and hard work this year, vacations had just begun. Most of my family lives far away, and since I just get too see them few times a year it was time to travel and have a nice Christmas with the rest of my family.

We arrived in Bucaramanga, were we got received by a nice aunt of mine that had prepared a delicious dinner for our arrival. I had a nice time talking with my cousins whom I haven't seen for quite a time.

Time passed until Christmas came and my aunt had organized a really nice party at her house, were many funny events happened that day, and lets not forget about the delicious feast we has that night. However fireworks were missing, I feel Christmas aren't as fun without fireworks.

Christmas had passed and the next day I had to do some exercise to burn some calories after the feast we had the previous day, so I went with some cousins to the pool and then after exercising we proceeded to buy some food.

Since we were having a long stay we decided to pass the new year in the house of an uncle in Bucaramanga. Most of family assisted, we had a nice traditional new year eve party with my family.

Next day there was nothing much to do, I had woken up really late and everybody was really tired so I decided to spend the day watching action movies with my cousin, who had a really big collection of movies.

After so much fun and nice time with my family we finally traveled back home, thanks god everything went fine and well after some really good vacations I'm finally to school. Unfortunately.

Dear John

Hey John how are you? I hope you are good.

Vacation has started, i was so desperate waiting christmas. In December 22, i traveled to Bogota in the night. That night i sleep in my grandmother's house. Next day i was waiting for my cousin called Joseph Alexander Burgess, he came to Colombia from Canada. We do a lot of things together, like us.
I was very happy because my parents give me a lot of presents. I play all the week with the gifts they give to me. Suddenly we travel in car to Villavicencio with all the family, to celebrate new year. That day was very cool, we miss you. In January 1 of 2013 we went to the river, it was so cold but i liked, we ate "lechona" it was very delicious.
Next day we travel to Melgar, i love to go there. When i go there, i stay in a big club. You can do there all you want, i played soccer, tennis, ride bike, play golf, went to the pool and the best thing i do was sky in a big lake, i love sky. 3 days i will never forget. The last night in the club, we went to play bingo and I was so far to win something except a tv i was mad. Finally we travel again Bogota.
My uncle with me and all my cousins went to play paintball that was awesome.
In January 18 we travel back Barranquilla missing all i did.

Dear fellow stranger,

I am sending a message in a bottle upon the sea. 
You may think this is a crazy way to comunicate to a stranger, but at this point of loneliness I have no other idea of how to tell someone about my winter break of 2012-2013. 
Right now, I am writting in the beach, none of my friends were allowed to came so I am here sitting in a sand telling someone that maybe will never get this letter, but the feeling that someone might read this, sends my body to a calmer state. I am quite annoyed with myself (we will get to why I am annoyed later) and the break is almost over. I am going back to school tomorrow. 
Let's start from the begining. 

My winter break at the first days were quite boring, I did nothing more than wake up at eight am to some driving lessons and read afterwards until I had to go to sleep; some days friends came over my house and we drank coffee shake from Juan Valdez. 

It was almost every way like that until New Years. I went to my cousins' house like I have done four or five years in a row. Last year I had such a blast that I had a lot of high expectations for this year. But this year was different to last year. 

It was a total fail. 

I was bored most of the time but I kept telling myself that it was going to get better when the clock strikes twelve, the indications that the new year had started. 

That was a total fail too. 

I was so exited to start the countdown. We were at that time watching New York Live. So I was exited to do the countdown along with millions of people in New York watching the ball drop. 

Long story short, when the countdown was down to seventeen seconds untill midnight, the lights went off. So we were not connected to New York and people were shouting that it was already 2013. 

I felt like it can't be New Year if we don't do the countdown. So at the top of my lungs I started counting down from 5. 

It could've been better.

After that I stayed up to see the sun rise. It was beautiful. 

About a week ago I had an appointment at a doctor specialized in Natural things and points of energy that I never understood. 

She told me the allergy I had on my left toe was somehow connected to my pancreas so she left me an extreme diet to clean my sistem. And when I say extreme I mean extreme. I have a very limited variety of food to eat. 

This is linked of why I am currently annoyed right now. 

What happened, is that I had to go to the supermarket to buy some food that I can eat. I am annoyed because my family eats my food as a snack and then I have nothing left to eat and I am starving all day. So I am angry and annoyed. Reasons why I am writing a message in a bottle, to let my anger out by writing. 

PS: I hope someone gets this bottle, If you do please contact me. I want to know if someone read my lame winter break.

Dear John:

I am writing to tell you about my wonderful holidays.
This winter break started the best possible way it could, going to the dentist to finally remove my braces which I have had for more than a year.

After a week having a good time in Barranquilla with my friends, you know chilling and going the pool since it's hot in here, I traveled all the way across the globe to the cold dry lands of Russia.

Once I arrived at Moscow, I was picked up by my uncle. He took me to his beautiful house where I met with my aunt Ivana and my cousins, Dimitri and Sergei.

Dimitri, which is about my age, invited me to come along with his friends to a local lounge. The guys where very friendly with me and I had a good time.

The next day I went with the whole family to visit touristic places like the Kremlin, San Basilio Cathedral and the Red Plaza. I took a lot of pictures and purchased a guide that explained the history of these architectural masterpieces.

Later on, we went to a restaurant called Stroganoff that was located in Lenin street. I ordered a tomato soup, it was the best one I've ever had. Then my uncle ordered me a glass of the most famous beverage in Russia, one shot of the finest Vodka in the world.
After two excellent weeks in Russia, it was time for me to return to Colombia.

That was the best vacation I have ever had in my life and I would definitely recommend you to visit Russia.
